The neighborhood party of the artistic walk returns to Lomax and Peoples streets on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. but will be held indoors.
âOver the past few months, ArtWalk has been staged as ArtWalk Block Parties on Lomax Street and Peoples Street. However, due to expected inclement weather, both street closures have been canceled. Events scheduled on both streets will be relocated. at indoor locations including BUS, Fresco, The Point, Commons and The Exchange. Downtown visitors can find over 20 local vendors, live music, specials and more at these business locations ” , indicates a press release from the organizers.
You won’t want to miss the opening of the Dia De Los Muertos exhibitions at K Space Contemporary, where you can view the art collections and buy everything handmade, like sugar skulls, jewelry, and more.
Portland Pumpkin Patch is open for business from Friday. Portland’s First United Methodist Church hosts the annual tradition all October where you can buy a pumpkin and enjoy fun fall events for the whole family. The pumpkin patch times are listed below.
- Monday – Friday: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The Spazmatics return to Brewster Street Ice House Downtown on Friday night. General admission tickets are $ 15. Doors open at 8 p.m. and start of the show at 9 p.m.
