Although the game hasn’t received any Halloween-themed updates for a long time, players can enjoy spooky events. Mojang announced Minecraft Spookyfest, where they will bring limited-time items to Marketplace.

Mojang has officially announced Minecraft Spookyfest, a Halloween event filled with spooky surprises for gamers. The developers have prepared some “spooky and cute stuff” for those who play Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons during the spookiest time of the year.

In Minecraft Dungeons, Mojang already had a well-established Halloween tradition. Last year the game introduced the Spooky Fall event. However, the Halloween celebrations are taking it to the next level this year, as Mojang hosts the Spookier Fall event.

Minecraft Dungeons fans will learn more about Spookier Fall in the coming weeks. From now on, Mojang has asked everyone to,

“Prepare to fight through new, spookier adventures and earn menacing gear!”

Bedrock players will receive limited time spooky items in October. Bedrock Edition has a market area where one can purchase community created content like maps, skins, resource packs, etc. Here are some special articles coming up this month:

  • October 13, 2021: Players will receive The Spooky Gourdian, a Minecraft Dungeons-inspired character creation item based on the Jack-O-Lantern. It will be available for free until November 2, 2021.
  • October 19, 2021: Players can purchase The Cauldron Cover, a Minecraft Dungeons-inspired character creation item based on the Cauldron.
  • October 26, 2021: Players will receive Halloween Fiends, a free skin pack. It will be available for free until November 2, 2021.

Bedrock players can get the Crafty Costumes Skin Pack by purchasing in-game items from the Micrafan store or HalloweenCostumes.com in October. Mojang will reveal more rewards and events as Halloween approaches. Unfortunately, no events or giveaways have been announced for Java Edition.
