There’s a new cookie in town, and El Pasoans are lining up for the first bites.
The first local Crumbl Cookies officially opened Friday morning with a few ready customers at 13371 Eastlake Blvd., Building 40, in a building across from Ross Dress for Less.
The confectionery offers six main cookies (and will alternate four flavors each week): cornbread, Blue Monster with Chips Ahoy, peanut butter with Reese’s pieces, hot German chocolate cake, hot milk chocolate chips and fresh vanilla sugar.
Each gourmet cookie, at $3.94 plus tax, is a handful to hold and even harder to finish. The most delicious seem to be the chocolate chips and the German chocolate biscuit. The company also offers ice cream.
The presentation is special, which makes cookies a good choice for a special occasion. Employees show you your cookie order like a proud parent – holding a long pink box open to display the treats. A box of four costs $12.63, a six-pack costs $18.76, and the twelve-pack costs $32.87.
Take-out, curbside and delivery functions are scheduled to begin on March 2.
