Lopez began his banking career over 25 years ago and has worked for Old National since 2019 as the government and nonprofit relations manager in his Minneapolis market. Prior to ONB, he was Vice President of Bremer Bank, specializing in non-profit banking organizations and developing relationships with private commercial industrial companies, including clients of the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Lopez came to the United States from Mexico at the age of 13 and continued his education at the University of Minnesota. In 2017, he was selected for the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.
In the community, Lopez sits on the board of directors of Neighborhood House, a non-profit organization that exists to help people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive in diverse communities. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce and motivational speaker for AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), a public college preparation program.
