Decadence has come to Bayside in a sweet way.

Sugar Factory, the kid-friendly restaurant famous for its sumptuous and photogenic desserts, is now open at Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami. With it come its popular menu items – including the rainbow pancakes topped with chocolate chips and gummy bears as well as the Flaming Hot Cheetos burgers – which have made it one of the most popular restaurants on Instagram. .

The main dining room seats 156 people and includes a full-service bar overlooking Biscayne Bay. The plan is to expand the restaurant, which also serves pastas, salads and sandwiches, to 3,000 square feet of space that includes not only the dining room but also a retail store and confectionery, because who doesn’t don’t want to take a lot of homemade sugar.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sugar Factory to Bayside, adding one of the world’s favorite confectioneries to the booming downtown neighborhood of Yum,” owner Charissa Davidovici said in a statement. “With a panoramic view of Miami’s beautiful Biscayne Bay, guests can find our larger-than-life tumblers, extravagant milkshakes, and eye-catching flower walls for the complete Instagrammable experience, from our dishes to our decor.”

About these milkshakes: All the favorites are here, including the epic Caramel Sugar Daddy Cheesecake Milkshake (vanilla ice cream and pieces of cheesecake topped with caramel sauce, whipped cream, a slice of cheesecake, a Sugar Daddy and a rainbow lollipop, served in a chocolate covered cup). You can also order a Bacon Cheeseburger Milkshake, with strawberry ice cream topped (what else?) with a slice of bacon and a small cheeseburger.

The famous Sugar Factory flower wall is here for your Instagramming pleasure.

If a hefty milkshake isn’t enough to appease your sweet tooth, try the famous King Kong Sundae, which costs $99 but feeds 12 and includes 24 scoops of ice cream and just about every other sweet thing you could think of.

Adults can skip the ice and go straight for the steaming cocktails (which can also be made without alcohol). They’re endorsed by various celebrities, from Nick Jonas and Bruno Mars to Dwayne Johnson and Pitbull (who supposedly designed The Watermelon Patch, featuring Voli 305 vodka and sour watermelon gummies).

Sugar Factory also has a restaurant on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, with a third location slated to open at the Aventura Mall this spring. A fourth and smaller Sugar Factory Express is planned for the future for Española Way in Miami Beach.
