Windows 365 Cloud PC overview, lower market costs


Microsoft will also be showcasing Cloud for Sustainability at the annual partner event.

MICROSOFT INSPIRE – Microsoft plans to offer a virtual desktop and application service called Windows 365 Cloud PC. The service is one of many great offerings the company is showcasing at the Microsoft Inspire partner event that begins Wednesday.

Other Microsoft announcements during this week’s Inspire include new programs to accelerate migrations to the Microsoft Azure cloud. Microsoft will also reveal its intention to reduce transaction fees for using its commercial marketplace. In addition, the company will launch the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

The annual Inspire event will be a virtual conference for the second year in a row due to the pandemic. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will deliver the keynote address. In addition, Rodney Clark, Microsoft’s new channel manager, will speak to partners for the first time.

Other key Microsoft executives will speak. They include Judson Althoff, the executive vice president the company recently appointed as chief commercial officer; President and Chief Legal Officer Brad Smith; and Nick Parker, corporate vice president for global partner solutions.
